Forward Industries Raises $25M To Buy More Solana
- Published
Forward Industries agreed to sell 3.125 million shares at $8 apiece in a registered direct offering expected to bring in about $25 million before fees. The company said it plans to use the net proceeds to add more SOL to its corporate treasury. A second report said the raise was completed and repeated that the money is slated mainly for additional Solana purchases.
Key claims & sources
What it means
Forward Industries’ treasury plan is visible to shareholders and Solana holders today because the company has already lined up capital for additional SOL purchases. That means the market can see the financing terms and the stated use of proceeds, rather than waiting for a later treasury update.
Compared with before, the company moved from intending to raise money to having completed the share sale. What stays the same is the stated destination of the funds: additional Solana for the corporate treasury.
Market reaction i
The move was larger before the first headline than after. That is an observation, not an explanation: the market also moves on things nobody publishes.
