Terms of use
These terms apply to anyone who uses blockboard.net. By using the site, you accept them. If you don't, please don't use it.

1. The service
BlockBoard is an information service about crypto assets and the news around them. It groups articles from public sources into stories, measures how newsrooms cover them and shows market data. Reading it is free.
We can change, add or remove features at any time, and we don't guarantee that the site will always be available or free of errors.
2. Not financial advice
Everything on BlockBoard is general information. Nothing on it is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. Scores, rankings, summaries and notes on market moves describe what was published and what prices did. They don't predict what will happen.
Crypto assets are highly volatile and you can lose everything you invest. You are solely responsible for your decisions.
3. Accuracy of information
We build BlockBoard from public sources and automated processes, including language models, and we describe how in How it works. Sources can be wrong, publication times can be misreported, and our own processes can make mistakes. We provide the information as it is, without any guarantee that it is complete, accurate or up to date.
4. Your account
- You need an account for some features, such as a custom board, a portfolio or alerts.
- You must be at least 16 years old to create one.
- Give us a real email address, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- One account is for one person.
- We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
5. Acceptable use
When you use BlockBoard, you agree not to:
- Copy the site's data in bulk with automated tools, or put a load on our servers that degrades the service for others.
- Try to get around our security measures, rate limits or access controls.
- Use the site for anything illegal, or to mislead other people about markets.
- Pretend to be BlockBoard, or present our data as coming from somebody else.
6. Intellectual property
Headlines and articles belong to the newsrooms that publish them. We link to them and don't reproduce them.
BlockBoard's own work belongs to us: its texts, summaries, scores, rankings, design, logo and code. You can read it, share links to it and quote short extracts with a link back to the page. Any other use, such as republishing our data or using it commercially, needs our permission.
7. Links to other sites
BlockBoard links to articles, newsrooms and data providers. We don't control those sites and we aren't responsible for what they publish.
8. Limits of our responsibility
As far as the law allows, BlockBoard is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or relying on its information, including trading or investment losses. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.
9. Privacy
How we handle personal data is explained in the privacy policy, and the cookies we use in the cookie policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. If a change matters, we'll tell account holders by email before it applies.
