Binance Wallet lets users pay gas fees in USDT across four major networks
Binance Wallet added an option for users to pay network fees with USDT on BNB Smart Chain, Ethereum, Solana, and TRON. The feature also shows an estimated network fee before a transaction is confirmed, and TRON has a separate zero-fee promotion for eligible transfers.
What this rests on
What it means
Each sentence links inside to the piece that supports it.
Users who send transactions through Binance Wallet now see an option to pay gas in USDT on the four listed networks, and they also see an estimated fee before confirming. That changes what is visible at the point of transfer for wallet users today, while the TRON promotion applies only to eligible transfers.
Before this change, gas on these networks had to be handled in the network’s own token, but the wallet now accepts USDT for that step. What remains the same is that a fee is still shown and confirmed before the transaction goes through, so the fee step itself has not disappeared.
Market reaction
The move was larger before the first headline than after. That is an observation, not an explanation: the market also moves on things nobody publishes.
How the story was built
Every piece in order, with the time its news medium declares — if it is not believable we use ours and say so — and what it added to what was already known at that point. Arriving first is not the same as adding something.
