Bitcoin treasury companies get two Anchorage routes into Sui's Hashi
Published
Sui said at its Basecamp 2026 conference in Singapore that Hashi will open later this month with Anchorage Digital among the first firms able to connect. The setup gives companies with bitcoin on their books two routes to access cash without selling bitcoin, and Hashi is preparing a phased mainnet rollout later in October 2026.
What this rests on
What it means
Companies that already hold bitcoin are the immediate group affected, because Hashi is set to give them a way to access cash without selling those holdings. Anchorage Digital is among the first firms named for connection, so custody and treasury users will be watching for how the first access works when the network turns on later this month.
In practice, the new setup adds two routes into Hashi for bitcoin treasury firms, while the rollout is described as phased and tied to Atlas and Porto for qualified-custody and self-custody users. What stays the same is that the bitcoin remains on the companies’ books; what changes is the path they are being offered to reach cash.
Market reaction
The move was larger before the first headline than after. That is an observation, not an explanation: the market also moves on things nobody publishes.
How the story was built
Every piece in order, with the time its news medium declares — if it is not believable we use ours and say so — and what it added to what was already known at that point. Arriving first is not the same as adding something.
