Reflect Money launches Create for custom yield-bearing stablecoins on Solana
Published Updated 3 new reports since it was first published
Reflect Money has launched Create on Solana, a tool for issuing branded yield-bearing stablecoins in a single transaction. The launch also adds a way to set how interest is split among holders, select collateral from an approved set, and connect the token to Solana decentralized exchanges such as Jupiter and Titan.
What this rests on
What it means
Stablecoin issuance has traditionally meant either a centralized issuer like Circle minting USDC under its own balance sheet, or a protocol like MakerDAO building bespoke collateral vaults for DAI since 2017. Yield-bearing variants, popularized by Ethena's USDe in 2024, added another layer of engineering: collateral management, yield routing and liquidity hooks all had to be coded separately. Reflect's Create compresses that stack into a single Solana transaction, turning stablecoin issuance from an engineering project into a configuration choice.
Any app or community on Solana can now pick from a reviewed collateral set, set its own yield split, and keep a cut of the interest generated, without writing or auditing custom contracts. Connecting straight to Jupiter and Titan means a new token gets tradeable liquidity on day one instead of waiting for separate DEX listings. Smaller teams gain a revenue line they previously couldn't build alone; the trade-off is that holders now depend on Reflect's collateral vetting rather than their own.
Making stablecoin creation this easy lowers the barrier for legitimate projects to earn yield on idle treasury assets, but it also multiplies the number of yield-bearing tokens backed by assets users never personally vetted. That tension is not new: the collapse of TerraUSD in 2022 showed how quickly trust in an issuance mechanism can unravel once collateral quality is questioned. Reflect's approved-collateral model is meant to avoid that fate, though its safety rests entirely on how rigorously that list is maintained.
The real test is which projects actually use Create and what collateral Reflect's review process admits onto the approved list. Growth in branded tokens live on Jupiter and Titan, or any expansion of that collateral set, will show whether issuers trust the model enough to route real liquidity through it. A narrow, conservative list would support confidence in the yield-splitting design; a rapid expansion would raise the same scrutiny earlier stablecoin failures invited.
