Ethereum users and validators watching Sepolia would see the network move into live testing on October 6, 2026, with the fork time logged at 13:53:36 UTC and finalization at 14:24 UTC. The test also marked a higher capacity target on the network, and the change was visible in the first upgraded epochs and early blocks after activation.

In practice, Prysm operators no longer needed to rely on the old 60 million default once the fork activated, because version 7.2.1 changed the client default to 200 million gas on Sepolia. That left the rest of the setup unchanged for any operator who had already set a higher value themselves, and the upgrade still sat inside the wider Sepolia rehearsal for Glamsterdam.
