PrimeXBT said it added Tokenised Stocks as a new Crypto Futures category on PXTrader 2.0, with the announcement dated October 27, 2026 in Castries, Saint Lucia. The new offering was described as including exposure linked to Tesla, SpaceX and NVIDIA, and as part of a broader expansion of PrimeXBT’s multi-asset line-up.
Key claims & sources
What it means
PrimeXBT operates offshore from Saint Lucia, outside the direct reach of the SEC or MiFID, a structure crypto futures brokers have used for years to offer leveraged products US and EU regulators would not license. Tokenised equity exposure is not new: Binance tried tokenised stocks in 2021 and dropped them after Germany's BaFin objected, and FTX offered similar products before its 2022 collapse. PrimeXBT's move repackages that idea as a crypto futures category on its own PXTrader 2.0 platform.
Traders on PXTrader 2.0 can now take leveraged futures positions tied to Tesla and NVIDIA share prices without opening a brokerage account, passing securities-market KYC, or ever holding the underlying stock. They get no dividends, no voting rights, and no clearinghouse guarantee behind the trade, only a contract with PrimeXBT itself. For retail users in jurisdictions where US equities are hard to access, this lowers the barrier to entry; it also concentrates counterparty risk in a single offshore broker.
Packaging SpaceX into the same lineup is the sharper issue: SpaceX is privately held, with no public share price, exchange listing or disclosure regime to anchor a futures contract against. A broker offering 'exposure' to an unlisted company's valuation through a crypto derivative stretches the idea of tokenised stocks from tracking a market price to inventing one. That is a meaningfully different product from a futures contract on Tesla or NVIDIA, and it deserves to be labelled as such rather than folded into the same category.
The test now is whether regulators in markets where PrimeXBT solicits customers, the EU, UK or elsewhere, treat these tokenised stock futures as unlicensed securities derivatives, the way BaFin did with Binance in 2021. Watch also whether PrimeXBT discloses how it prices and settles the SpaceX contract absent a public market, and whether other offshore brokers copy the model now that it has launched on PXTrader 2.0.
Market reaction i
The move was larger before the first headline than after. That is an observation, not an explanation: the market also moves on things nobody publishes.
