Tokenized Stocks on Coinbase Cross $1B in Volume After One Month
Coinbase’s tokenized stock contracts on Base passed $1 billion in cumulative trading volume after four weeks of activity. A separate Sept. 23 test found that simulated $100,000 sell orders for those tokens were quoted below KyberSwap’s estimated token values on Base.
What this rests on
What it means
Each sentence links inside to the piece that supports it.
Users and traders who are already using the tokenized stock contracts may notice that the market has moved past $1 billion in cumulative volume after four weeks. The activity is happening on Base, so anyone interacting with these contracts is doing so on Coinbase’s layer-2 network rather than on a separate venue.
