Lido Adds Direct ETH Staking From Four Layer 2s to Its Interface

Users on Arbitrum, Base, Linea, and Optimism can notice the change when using Lido’s interface, because the staking flow now presents a direct path from those networks. In practice, that means they receive wstETH from local liquidity pools while the ETH involved is bridged to Ethereum for staking.
