OKX-ICE’s tokenized stock venue keeps drawing issuer objections, with the disclosed count rising to 62 as more large public companies file notices against having their shares tokenized. The notices now cover most of the venue’s originally proposed lineup, leaving only a small number of symbols without a published opt-out.

What it means
OKXICE TSV is the joint venture between crypto exchange OKX and Intercontinental Exchange, the owner of the New York Stock Exchange, built to trade tokenized U.S. NMS stocks through permissioned automated market-maker pools on the XLayer blockchain. Its original proposal listed 63 symbols, from Nvidia to Apple to Boeing. Under SEC rules, any issuer can block a third party from tokenizing its shares by filing a Notice of Issuer Objection, and the venue has published successive notices logging each new filing since October.
The Nov. 4 notice lifted the disclosed tally to 62 objectors after Boeing, ServiceNow and Nebius Group filed, leaving only a handful of the original 63 symbols without a published opt-out. OKX and ICE can no longer offer tokenized exposure to most of the blue-chip names that anchored their pitch; traders who wanted onchain Nvidia, Boeing or Apple exposure through this venue have no legal route to it. The venue must relaunch with a thinned-out roster, mostly smaller or non-objecting issuers.
The standoff tests whether tokenizing equities can work without issuer consent at all. An SEC rule hands every public company a veto, and dozens are using it, Wall Street firms evidently preferring to keep custody and brand control over their shares rather than cede it to an onchain intermediary. Rival platforms such as Hyperliquid face their own competition from newer entrants like LIT, but OKXICE's experience suggests the harder constraint is not onchain liquidity, it is corporate permission.
Boeing and ServiceNow's objections leave just eight of the venture's 63 originally proposed symbols without a disclosed opt-out, a number that will likely keep shrinking as the 30-day objection window plays out symbol by symbol. Whichever names remain unopposed when OKXICE finalizes its listings will define whether the venue launches as a meaningful tokenized-equity product or a residual list of companies that never bothered to respond.
Market reaction i
The move was larger before the first headline than after. That is an observation, not an explanation: the market also moves on things nobody publishes.
